Marjorie Jane Bender

Bender, Marjorie Jane – Passed away peacefully on March 31, 2013 at Sunnyside Home in her 78th year. Daughter of the late Garfield and Flora (Nicol) Bender. Marjorie is survived by her cousins Mrs. Diane Rotz of Maple and Mr. Paul Bender of Kitchener and her aunt Mrs. Freda Bender of Bedford, NS. She was a teacher at Waterloo Oxford D.S., Wilmot township from 1962 to 1967 and retired in 1993 as a librarian with the Etobicoke Public Library. Marjorie was an Elder at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church and very active in the church community. Family and friends may visit the Ratz Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street West, Kitchener on Thursday, April 4 from 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 54 Queen Street North, on Friday April 5 at 11:00 am with reception to follow. Burial at Woodland Cemetery.
