Marjorie Joan Barrie Cruickshank

85 years, passed away at Lisaard House on September 9, 2010. Predeceased by her husband James Cruickshank, her parents Ernest & Ruth Barrie and her brother Douglas Barrie. Remaining to celebrate her life and cherish her memory are her sons Jamie & his wife Caroline of Quebec, Timothy & his friend Tim Dietrich of Germany and her close friend Gretchen Jones. Will be missed by her sisters-in-law Talma Barrie, Colleen Cruickshank, brothers-in-law Don Goodwin, John Cruickshank and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to Celebrate Marjorie’s Life will be held in the Chapel of the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W. Kitchener on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. A reception to follow at the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. Marjorie was a long time member of St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church. As per Marjorie’s request memorial donations to St. John’s Kitchen or Lisaard House would be appreciated.
