Mary Bernadette Kenney

KENNEY, Mary Bernadette Passed away at Grand River Hospital on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at the age of 86 years, with her family by her side. Predeceased by her husband George (1989), her parents Harry and Bernadette McDermott and her brother Jack. Beloved mother of Jane Cargill of Gravenhurst, Judith Anne Murray of Guelph and Helen Kenney and her husband Garfield Mahood of Toronto. Beloved grandmother of David Reddall, Amy and her husband Michael Doxey, Jill, Michael (predeceased in 1984), Mary Allison and Owen Murray. Dear sister of Harry McDermott and wife Florence of Burlington, Helen McDermott of Stratford and sister-in-law Carol McDermott of Newmarket. Mary was a member of the C.W.L., Westmount Golf and Country Club and a volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society. The family will receive friends at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 173 Loudes St., Waterloo on Friday, October 15, 2010 from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m., where a Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Fr. Edward Sheridan officiating. At Mary's request, there will no visitation at the funeral home. Memorial donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
