Ramos de Barros

de BARROS-COUTINHO, Ramos Adolpho – Passed away suddenly at home with his loving wife by his side on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 in his 90th year. Loved and cherished husband and best friend of Margot. Ramos is survived by his nephew, Peter Hufer, his niece Katharina Hufer and his brother-in-law Werner Hufer, all of Frankfurt am Main, Germany. He is predeceased by his parents, Gustavo and Hildegard and his brothers, Rudolf and Geraldo. Ramos was a long-time, devoted friend to Luther Village and he will be missed.

Mr. de Barros is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. West, where his family will receive friends on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place on Sunday afternoon at 2:30pm in the chapel at Luther Village on the Park, 139 Father David Bauer Dr., Waterloo with Rev. Dr. Dieter Kays officiating. Interment at Memory Gardens, Breslau, Ontario. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Salvation Army or to Habitat for Humanity.
