Rosina "Rose" Martin

Passed away on December 1, 2010 at Freeport Health Centre at the age of 87. Predeceased by her husband William Martin (2005). Beloved mother of Larry & wife Mary of Bamberg, Joan Collins of Waterloo and Debbie Potoczny & husband George of Waterloo. Dear grandmother of Christopher (Heather), Michelle (Richard Kaczmarek), Heath and Tyler. Great grandmother of Justin, Curtis, Daniel, and Owen. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Rose was predeceased by her parents Edward & Laura Spielmacher, brother Clayton and sisters Caroline, Lucy and Elvera. Special thanks to Dr. Duncan Schwartz and the nursing staff of Union Terrace at Freeport Health Centre. Visitation will be held at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W. , Kitchener on Thursday (today) from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 3:45 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Teresa’s Church, 44 Leonard St., Kitchener on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Parkview Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre or Freeport Health Centre – Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated.
