Mr. Walter Rudolf Ferdinand Meier

Beloved husband of the late Amanda Meier who predeceased him in 1987. Loving father of Dieter Meier (Heather Langdon) of Port Franks, Harold Meier (Janice) of Kitchener and Monica Meier (Kevin Schroeder) of Listowel. Dear brother of Kurt Meier (Lydia) of Kitchener, Elfrieda Toth (George) of Waterloo and Anna Patz (Dieter) of Germany. Loving Opa to 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild and beloved Uncle Wally to all of his many nieces and nephews here and in Europe.

Mr. Meier’s family will receive friends and relatives at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, 51 Benton at Church St., Kitchener on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Monday, January 21, 2013 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 47 Sheldon Ave. N., Kitchener at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Joe Das officiating.
