Walter "Wally" Zarzycki

ZARZYCKI, Walter; Passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, September 30th, 2012 at the Grand River Hospital in his 81st year. United again with his loving wife Betty (2011). Beloved father to Tom (Rose), Jim (Cathy), Dan (Pam) and Dave (Darlene). Wally was the proud grandfather of Brandon and Amber, Dana and Robby, TJ and Troy and great-grandfather to Jessi. Survived by sister Mary (Jim) Simon, sisters-in-law Helen Zarzycki, Jenny Zarzycki, Marie Hogg and brother-in-law Bob Merkley. Predeceased by his parents Barney and Ida, sisters Betty and Pat and brothers Joe, Stan, Ed and Ted. Wally will be dearly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at the RATZ-BECHTEL FUNERAL HOME, 621 King Street West (519-745-9495) on Thursday, October 4th, 2012 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will take place the following day, Friday, October 5th, 2012 at 11am at the funeral home. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
