Albert Al Gene Wright

Wright, Albert G. (Al), born December 12, 1936 in Galax, Virginia, joined his Savior March 16, 2011. Al is preceded in death by his parents, Keith and Martha Wright; brother, Kenneth; sisters, Louise Tuckmantel and Patsy Eller. Survived by loving wife of 41 years, Suzanne; sons, David and wife, Phyllis, and Kevin and special friend, Mitzi Montooth; grandchildren, Savannah and Andrew; sister-in-law, Evelyn Wright; and brother-in-law, Don Hultquist; and several nieces and nephews; special friends, Claude and Mary Ann Berry, Bob and Lois Coppock; and so many cherished members of his church family. Al was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church. He retired from Boeing Co. in Mesa, AZ. A special thanks to the doctors and staff at UT Medical Center Cancer Institute and to all his friends who have helped in so many ways. The family will receive friends Friday, March 18 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Sevier Heights Baptist Church with the funeral service following, Dr. Hollie Miller officiating. Interment will be at the Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, Lyons View Pike, at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, March 21, 2011, Rev. Charlie McNutt officiating.
