Alma was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Anderson Raper and her husband, James O. Roberts. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and Roy Despirto of Georgia and nephew, Michael Despirto and his wife Tia of Raleigh, North Carolina. Alma leaves behind some very special friends, Ralph and Tanya Scates who have been taking care of her for several years.
Alma has many friends through First Baptist Church of Concord and volunteering at Tennova Turkey Creek. She also made many friends through Project Linus Club where she created blankets for children all over the world.
Receiving of friends and family will be held Sunday, December 21, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Concord at 2pm with a funeral service to follow at 3pm. Steve Peek officiating. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025 at 1pm at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery.
