

Waiting on her arrival was her husband of 64 years Charles J. Rader; her parents Henry Carr and Berverlee Carr; daughter Teressa Williams; grandsons Bronson Williams and Braxton Williams; godson Stanley Craig and brothers Robert and Charles Carr; sisters Frances Murphy, Laura Reese, Johnnie Lee Carr, Chastity Carr, Gladys Dockery, and Shirley Davis.
She leaves to cherish her memories daughters Ret. Capt. Jaquetta Brooks and Crystal Rader [all of Knoxville, TN]; son Shannon Rader [of Greenville, SC.]; grandchildren Brian (Linda) Brooks, Marlon (Monique) Brooks, Brittany Williams, Blayr Williams, Christian Rader-Jones, Trillion Rader-Jones [all of Knoxville] and Victor Rader [Bakersfield, CA]; great grandchildren Brian, Mya, Savanah,
Le'Brya, Dereon, E'Siya, Isabella, La'Miya, Za'Kauri, Zy'Keelyn, Da'Nyri, Brit'ish and A'Zora; great step-grandchildren Zairee, Justin, Cayden, Jazaya, Amani and Zylan; godsons Rev. Irvin Hines, Elijah “Eric” Kimbrough [both of Knoxville] and a host of nieces and nephews.
Alzora was a faithful longtime member of First A.M.E. Zion Church. She served in the roles of Deaconess, member of the Women's Home and Overseas Missionary Society, Buds of Promise Leader, Sunday School Superintendent, Director of VBS, Children's and Youth Leader, Director of Children's Church, Children's Choir Director, Youth Usher Board, Girl Scout Leader, Brownie Leader, Shady Garden Club Member, Zeta Phi Beta-Amicae Sorority, Pre-School and Kindergarten Teacher, Board Member of Y. W. C. A., graduate of Morristown College. She also was Writer and Producer of many plays and dramas and a Mentor to many.
A Receiving of Friends will be held at First AME Zion Church, 1900 McCalla Ave, Knoxville, TN 37915, US, on March 28, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm with a Funeral Service immediately following at 1:00 pm. A Committal Service will be held at Berry Highland South, Garden of the Three Crosses, 9010 E Simpson Rd, Knoxville, TN 37920, US, on March 28, 2026, at 3:00 pm.
