Aria Elaine Kennedy

Aria Elaine Kennedy was born on October 16, 2025, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, and passed peacefully in the arms of her family on October 30, 2025, at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital.

During her brief but powerful time on this earth, Aria touched countless hearts and became a shining example of courage and perseverance. Though she was the smallest baby born in East Tennessee, her strength was immeasurable. Against all odds, Aria defied expectations and gifted her family 14 unforgettable days filled with love, hope, and grace.

Aria is deeply loved and will forever be cherished by her parents, Reanna Maddox and Randy Kennedy; her siblings, June and Tyler Kennedy; her grandparents, Diana Almond, and Bobbi and Mark Kennedy; and her aunts and uncles, Destiny Almond, Jason Cabe, Amber Kennedy, Danielle Kennedy, and Cory Kennedy.

She is also loved and remembered by many other family members from both her mother’s and father’s sides, all of whom cared for her deeply and hold her memory close to their hearts.

Her life, though short, was a profound reminder that true strength knows no size and that even the smallest among us can fight the greatest battles. Aria’s story reminds us that while not every battle can be won, every moment of courage and love is worth fighting for. Her spirit will continue to inspire all who hear her name.

While she was alive, Aria was surrounded by love from so many. When she passed, she did not go alone—she was met in Heaven by beloved family members who will watch over her and love her until we all meet again.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the NICU staff at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital for their exceptional care, compassion, and kindness. They not only cared for Aria with love, but also treated her parents like family, providing comfort and support through every moment of her journey.

A private viewing for Aria’s parents will be held on November 1, 2025, as they take time to cherish one final moment with their daughter. Family viewing will follow on November 2, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920.
