Benjamin Paul Koretko
Age 33
With great sorrow but deep gratitude for his life, we announce the passing of Benjamin Paul Koretko, age 33, on November 17th, 2025. He was born on May 20th, 1992. Ben left this world much too soon, but not before leaving his mark on every person lucky enough to know him.
Ben was full of life. Loud, cheerful, and unapologetically himself, he had a way of lighting up every room he walked into. You never had to wonder when Ben was around; you could hear the laughter, feel the energy, and see the joy he brought with him. He lived boldly, loved fiercely, and never missed an opportunity to make someone smile.
He is survived, among many relatives, his father, Paul Koretko, and his sisters, Dawn Koretko and Michaela Koretko-Stephens, his aunt Jan Miller, his uncle Ron Wilson, his niece Jessica Bradford-Gutierrez, and his great-niece Remi Gutierrez. He is also survived by his dearest friends, Dillion Foster and John Clark, who were brothers to him. They will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Ben is preceded in death by his loving mother, Carol Koretko, his sister Lorri Danovich, and his brother Rob Sharp. He is also preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Koretko. We find comfort in believing that Ben’s laughter is now echoing alongside them. His beloved fur baby, Luna, also preceded him in death, and those who knew Ben find comfort in imagining them joyfully reunited himself.
They will forever carry his memory in their hearts. A lovin those who knew Ben will remember his vibrant personality, his quick wit, and the way he was never afraid to be authentically himself. He brought fun, warmth, and life into every interaction—whether he was cracking a joke, offering a loving sass with a smile, or simply being present with the people he loved.
Visitation will be held at Weaver Funeral Home from 10:00-1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 29th. Friends and family are invited to come as they are, share stories, laugh through the tears, and honor him in a way he would have loved—full of personality and heart. Family and friends will reconvene at Anderson Memorial Gardens after service for a 2pm graveside.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Ben’s legacy by living with the same energy and authenticity he did: be loud, love hard, and never shy away from being yourself.
“He didn’t just light up the room—he was the light.”
Pallbearers are as follows: Dillon Foster, John Clark, Jordan Eads, Braden Dill, Nick Robinett, and Logan Moody.
