Betty Erlene Eaton

Eaton, Betty Erlene 77 of Powell, Tennessee went Home to be with the Lord Sunday, April 24, 2016. She was a member of Olivet Baptist Church and attended Bells Campground Baptist Church for 50 years where she was active in the Youth Ministry and WMU. Betty retired from Knox Tenn Rental and Sales as their bookkeeper for 36 years. She is preceded in death by parents, Walter Edward and Dora Lee Hawkins; brother, Charles Edward Hawkins. Betty is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, John Eaton; son, Bill (Dovie) Eaton; daughter, Betsy (Vick) Stroup; grandchildren, Crystal (Matt) Chitwood, Derek (Angel) Eaton, TC Kocher; 6 great grandchildren; brother, Howard Hawkins; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Thursday, April 28th from 1-3pm at Berry Highland South on Simpson Road. Funeral service will be Thursday, April 28th at 3pm with burial immediately following. Pastors Mike Harbin and Johnny Price to officiate. Pallbearers will be Boyd Raby, Ed Webb, Kyle Capps, Matt Chitwood, Richard Hawkins, and TC Kocher.
