Beverly A. Carroll, age 88, of Knoxville, TN passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, mother-in-law and grandmother. She loved her two boys beyond measure and spent many hours in the stands cheering and watching them play sports when they were growing up. Beverly was a native Knoxvillian, living her whole life in the South Knoxville area. She was an avid fan of the University of Tennessee sports and had more orange in her closet than any other color! In her early career, Beverly worked for Fidelity Bankers, Home Federal Savings and Loan, and First Tennessee Bank. She then became a successful real estate agent at Tellico Village for many years before retiring. Beverly was affectionately known as "Bebe" to her grandchildren and close family. She loved spending time on her farm, decorating her home for the holidays, and preparing large, delicious meals for family gatherings. She played the ukulele, and the piano and loved singing in the choir in her church, Immanuel Baptist. She was known for her sparkly shoes, big earrings, bright lipstick and "pocketbooks". She will be remembered for her generosity, devotion to her family, and lively spirit.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Carroll; daughter, Kimberly Ann Carroll; father, Lawrence Bodenheimer; mother, Bertha Bodenheimer; sister, Barbara Hoffmeister and brother-in-law, H.L. Hoffmeister.
Beverly is survived by son, Keith A. Carroll and wife, Linn; son, Kevin A. Carroll and wife Amy; grandchildren, Max Carroll, Bodie Carroll, Hannah Carroll, Maggie Carroll and Emma Kate Carroll.
The family will receive friends Saturday, October 30, 2021 between the hours of 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville with a service to follow officiated by
Rev. Joe Chandler. Family and friends will go in procession to Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville for a 1:00 PM Interment. The family invites friends to share fond memories and sign the online guestbook at www.berryfuneralhome.com.
