Brenda Murphy

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Josephine and Ed Murphy; her brothers David Murphy, Kevin Murphy, and Terry Murphy; and her sister Rose Sims.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Melinda Gonzalez and son-in-law José Gonzalez; grandchildren Amber Bautista, Anna Greer, and Joshua Redford; nephew Lee Jones; and extended family members Summer Romines and McKenzie Kirkland. Brenda also shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Luna.

Throughout her life, Brenda worked as a housekeeper, dedicating herself fully to her work and those she cared for. She was known as the aunt everyone turned to in times of trouble—firm when needed but always loving. Her heart overflowed with love for her grandchildren and nephew Lee, whom she cherished deeply.

Brenda had a joyful spirit and a playful side that shone through in her love for Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Her home was filled with a treasured collection of Mickey and Minnie stuffed animals, blankets, shirts, and nightgowns—each piece a reflection of her vibrant personality.

Brenda will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her. Her warmth, strength, and unwavering support left an indelible mark on the lives she touched.

She will be cremated by Weaver’s Funeral Home. While there will be no formal service at this time, a celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor her memory.
