

Headrick, Bruce Edward-age 74, died peacefully at Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Center on February 12, 2011. He was a member of Meridian Baptist Church and previous owner of H&H Wholesale of Seymour. He was a member of The Smoky Mountain USBC Bowling Hall of Fame. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed baseball, the beach, his garden and his dog, Dixie. Bruce never met a stranger, he was loved by many and a friend to all. He was preceded in death by his parents Bruce Gatha and Hazel Davis Headrick; daughter Kimberly Diane, son David Keith and granddaughter, Melinda Elizabeth “Mindy”. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 35 years Cynthia; daughter Amie and son-in-law Scott Dyer; grandchildren Nick and wife April Elmore, Andrew Boling, Savannah Boling, Riley Dyer, Caroline Dyer; great grandchildren Tyler and Elizabeth and many relatives, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Meridian Baptist Church on Monday, February 14, 2011 from 5:30-8:00 pm, with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 pm Rev. Dana Fachman officiating. Family and friends will meet Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Highland South Cemetery at 11:00 am for the interment.
