Charles Marvin McGraw III

Charles, fondly called "Charlie" Marvin McGraw III, age 82, of Seymour, TN passed away to his heavenly home on Tuesday, January 7th 2025. He was born on July 17th, 1942 to the late Charles Marvin McGraw II and Bernice McGraw in Pasadena, CA. Charlie joins his late wife Mary Ann Hudson-McGraw and step-grandchild Brian Burns. Charlie proudly served his country in the United States Army. He spent the majority of his life working with pneumatic conveying systems.

Charlie was a man of immense humor and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones and numerous treasured friends. Charlie left many behind to cherish his memory, including his sister Artemis (Sharon) Lampathakis; daughters Stephanie (Brian) O'Donnell, Melissa (Joab) Salce; son Chuck (Jennifer) McGraw; stepdaughters Teresa Burns, Kathy Hudson, and Lynnea Dorin; stepsons Mark, John, and Matt Dorin, and Alan (Pam) Hudson; grandchildren Dustin and Morgan Schroder, Parker, Preston, and Paighton Salce, and Justin and Cody McGraw; step-grandchildren Nathan and Scott (Libby) Burns, Brittany (Eric) Chambers, Lindsey (Eric) White, Karley (Dan) Hernandez, Dustin (Ashley) Hudson; great-grandchildren Stella Schroder, Kingston Burns-Jenkins, Everleigh Burns, Agnes, Edith, and Abraham Chambers, and Jolie and Jax White; several nieces and nephews, and many other family members and special friends. Charlie also loved spending time with his beloved dogs, Jazzy and Felix.

The visitation will be held Monday, January 20th, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920. A Celebration of Charlie's life will follow at 7:00 PM with Reverend Leland Lyon officiating. Family and friends will meet on Tuesday, January 21st, 2025 at Woodlawn Cemetery at 2:00 PM for a graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shepherd of the Hills Baptist Church.
