David Fowler

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He graduated from Rule High School where he was an All-Star basketball player.

He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and spent one year in Germany. After his service, he "Dedicated his life to Jesus in 1976 at Piney Grove Baptist Church, where he served as deacon for many years. In later years he served as deacon at Olivet Baptist Church."

Preceded in death by his daughter,Tracie; parents, Floyd, and Vergie McKinnley Fowler; brothers, Jack, Jim, and Don; sister, Bobbie.

Survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Jeanette Branch Fowler; son, Jeff (Sherri) Fowler; daughters, Jennifer (Ronnie) France and Allie; grandchildren, Brad, Brendan, Cameron, Kelsey (Alex), Karley (Tim), and Conner; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Ethan and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express a special thank you to brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Darrell and Deneal Branch. Thank you to Beth and Jane with Covenant Hospice for their loving care.

Family will receive friends Friday at Piney Grove Baptist Church from 12-1 pm with the service to follow at 1pm. Graveside will follow service. Condolences are welcome at weaverfuneralservices.com.
