

Dean R. Lane, born on September 28, 1965, passed away on February 1, 2026, at the age of 60. A resident of Knoxville, Tennessee, Dean was known for being loyal, hard-working, faithful, kind-hearted, thoughtful, resilient, humorous, and cherished by all who knew him.
Dean was born in Knoxville and graduated from South Young High School. He dedicated over 25 years of his career to Keurig Dr Pepper, where his hard work and commitment were greatly appreciated.
In his personal life, Dean met the love of his life, Angie Wester, in junior high, and they married on Valentine's Day in 1987. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Jeanette Lane; his brothers, Clayton and Kris; and sisters, Yvonne and Danita. Dean is survived by his beloved wife, Angie; his sons, Dustin (Amanda), Anthony (April), and Josh; his cherished grandchildren, Gabriel, Waylon, and Aaron; his brother, Brent (Melissa); and many other loved ones in the family.
Dean enjoyed camping, boating, fishing, and hiking with his family. He was an avid fan of UT Volunteers Football. His personal qualities and legacy were marked by his deep affection for his grandchildren, whom he adored as a great "Pappy." Dean never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone in need.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Berry Highland Memorial, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM officiated by Rev. Wesley Pursiful. Family and friends will gather in Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 7, 2026 for committal.
Dean will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
