Doris Ann Long passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, November 27, 2017 after being in hospice care since September. Ann was surrounded by her loving daughters and family. Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Jim Long. Ann was also preceded in death by grandson, Philip Ericson, mother-in-law, Stella Long and parents Doris and Francis Blackard. Ann will be greatly missed, she was very loved by all who knew her. Survivors are daughters, Teri (John) Schubert, Linda (Virgil Brown) Ericson, Susan (Michael) Holley and Mariah (Lee) Long Watson, grandchildren, John Morgan Schubert, Ryan, Matthew and Michael Ericson, Katie and Alison (Gareth Aye) Holley, great-grandchildren, Morgan, Skylar and Albee, sister, Faye Winters, brother, Jackie Blackard and sister-in-law Janice Norman. A Graveside Service will be held December 1, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, East John Sevier Highway, Knoxville, Tennessee.
