

Earl Avery (Jack) Patterson, Jr. passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord on Saturday morning, September 19, 2015. He retired from his profession as an Electrical Engineer in Florida, California, and Washington; then pursued a career in Real Estate in Washington State. He enjoyed life to the fullest and had many varied interests including fishing, photography, Ham Radio, Ballroom Dancing and especially music! He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Earl and Christine Patterson; and brother-in-law, Bill Stringfield. He is survived by his son, Michael (Bonnie); grandchildren, Jason, Hayden, and Kayla; sisters, Connie Stringfield, Marty Flanders; brother-in-law, Don Flanders; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, a multitude of friends and was loved by all! A Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, September 21, 2015 at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, Knoxville. The family will receive friends from 5:30 – 7:30pm with services immediately following with Rev. Robert Branch officiating.
