I will always remember him as the sweetest man who ever lived. My first camping trip was with Ernie and Tammy. They took my sister and I to the land between the lakes. He taught me how to fish and also gave me my first deer jerky and spam. I never met anyone that had so much trust in a young girl and a knife. Letting my sister and I carve out own walking sticks. I will never forget Ernie and his love for telling you facts and stories. I always had a love for learning and he was always so supportive of that. You will be dearly missed by my family and I.

I work with Tammy and think the world of her. I didn't know Ernie, but heard great things about him. If Tammy loved him, he had to be a wonderful man. Thoughts and prayers go out to Tammy and her family and friends who will miss him so much.
