

Dr. Clark, Floyd Everett, age 95, of Knoxville went to be with the Lord September 1, 2011. Dr. Clark was born in McTaggart, Saskatchewan, Canada; he came to Tennessee to attend Johnson Bible College. After graduation in 1941, he went to Butler University where he earned a B. D. degree. He returned to Johnson Bible College in 1943; Dr. Clark served as a professor and then as an Academic Dean for 35 years. After retiring in 1979, he went to Eastern North Carolina and continued supply preaching and working with new churches. While at Johnson Bible College he preached at several area churches. Dr. Clark was preceded in death by parents and brothers in Canada and first wife , Billie Frazier Clark. He is survived by wife, Clara Huffstetler Clark, daughter; Betty Sykes, stepchildren, Tom McFadden, Patricia Losch and Robert McFadden. Grandson, Scott Sykes and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother, Bert Clark. The family will receive friends, Sunday, September 4, 2011, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Johnson University Alumni Memorial Chapel. Service will follow at 7:00 PM with Dr. David Eubanks , Dr. Gary Weedman, Dr. David Reece and Mr. Dean Davis. Family and friends will meet Monday, September 5, 2011, at Gap Creek Christian Church for 11:00 AM interment.
