Frank Cecil Barnes Jr.

Frank Cecil Barnes Jr., age 90, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday January 23, 2019. Frank was born September 15, 1927 in Corbin, Ky. and later moved to Knoxville. He was a graduate of Young High School. Frank was a veteran of WWII and served in the US Army. He was part owner of Turner Brother's Produce. Frank was a member of Meridian Baptist Church where he was a Deacon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy R. Barnes and his parents, Frank Barnes, Sr. and Geneva Cline Barnes. Survivors include sons, Mike and Greg Barnes, both of Knoxville and nephews; Terry Cruze and John Courtney and his family. The family would like to say a special thank you to Rev. Dana Fachman and close friends for their love and support. The family will receive friends form 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm Thursday, January 25, 2019 at Meridian Baptist Church with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 pm. Rev. Dana Fachman officiating.
