

Hiscock, Gary Philip, 63, passed away in hospice care in the early morning hours of September 6, 2013. Gary was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, on July 19, 1950. He graduated from South High School in 1968 and received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. "Tennessee Gary" lived by his motto of “Never Bother; Never Bore.” He leaves many good friends and acquaintances that will miss him. He also leaves a legacy of pictures and beautiful pieces of art from his vast creativity. He was preceded in death by his father, Wm. Hector Hiscock. Gary is survived by his loving mother, Mildred Ward Hiscock; three brothers: Christopher “Bo” Hiscock, Kevin “Maroo” Hiscock, and Wm. “Bill” H. Hiscock, II and wife, Judith; two nephews Wm. Todd and Aaron Paul; great niece Teagan and great nephew Dominick. Gary is also survived by two maternal uncles, John H. Ward and wife, Barbara and Robert L. Ward and wife, Courtney and family, and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm, Thursday, September 12 at Berry Funeral Home.
