Gerald Edward Hollingsworth

Gerald Edward Hollingsworth, age 77, of Knoxville, TN, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 26, 2018. The family will receive friends at Sevier Heights Baptist Church from 5:30pm-7:00pm on Thursday, May 31. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will follow. Pastor Don Wilson officiating.

Gerald was a fireman, grocery manager, and contractor. But most of all, he was a generous man that loved his family. He lived in South Knoxville all his life, graduating from South HS in 1958. For nearly 20 years, Gerald enjoyed annual fishing trips to Canada with friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents James Edward and Ila Rogers Hollingsworth; son, Jonathan Hollingsworth.

He is survived by wife, Judye Hollingsworth; mother of his children, Carole Seastrom; sons, Russ Hollingsworth (Paula) and Stuart Hollingsworth (Kristie); grandchildren, Joel Hollingsworth (Brittney), Kaley Miller (Tyler), Brittany Province, Melissa Welch (Aaron); great grandchildren, Gabbie, Chloe, Paesyn and Everlee Welch; brother, Roger Hollingsworth (Becky); uncle, Buster Hollingsworth.
