Hugh Gene Myers went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 29, 2017. He was a proud veteran and a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church in Mascot. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Roberts Myers, whom he loved and missed dearly; his parents, Millard and Edith Myers; brother, Charlie Myers; and sister-in-law, Sheila Myers. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Evans; son, Anthony Myers; grandchildren, Cheyenne (Ben) Martin; Travis Myers, and Tori Evans; sister and brothers, Dorothy Reynolds, Lawrence (Ruth) Myers, Jimmy (Christine) Myers, Bobby (Barbara) Myers, and Billy Myers; sister-in-law, Janice (Charlie) Myers; several nieces and nephews; and in-laws, Leon and Grainger Roberts, Leslie and Charlotte Carter, Doyle and Christine Roberts. Graveside service will be held at Clear Springs Baptist Church in Mascot on October 3, 2017 at 3:30 pm, Rev. Hartsell McCurry and Rev. Bobby Myers will officiate.
