Janice Marie Barnett, age 77, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024. She was a graduate of Central High School Class of 1964. Janice spent 25 years in military travel and later moved back to Knoxville to be with her mother and retired from St. Mary's Hospital after 20 years of service. Her cats were her life.
She was preceded in death by parents: Bill and Kathlyn Lafollette and former husband, Johnny Barnett.
Janice is survived by cousins and caregivers: Don (Buddy) Ferguson, Judy and Ron Noe, Diane Major, Debbie Adams, Chris Gardner, Marcy Dickert, Julia Sease, Donna Abraham and host of other relatives and her cat, Lily. Special thanks to neighbors, Charles and Dez for their devoted service.
