Jeannie’s life was marked by deep faith, resilience, and a radiant love for those around her. Her relationship with God guided her every step, and she faced life’s challenges with unwavering courage and grace. After receiving a double lung transplant three and a half years ago, Jeannie embraced each new day as a precious gift and lived it to the fullest.
A true lover of life, Jeannie found joy in the simple and beautiful things—walking along the beach, exploring thrift stores for hidden treasures, taking to the skies, and caring for animals of all kinds. She shared a special bond with her beloved dogs, Rocket and Peggy Sue, her cats and horses, who brought her endless companionship and comfort.
Jeannie’s family was the light of her life. She poured love, laughter, and wisdom into every relationship, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of kindness, faith, and strength.
In a breathtaking sign of beauty and hope, a triple rainbow appeared over her home at the time of her passing—a reflection of her spirit’s radiant journey and the love she left shining in the hearts of those who knew her.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Gladys Pollard.
Jeannie is survived by her loving husband, Jack Bedford; daughter, April (Justin) Snell; son, Brandon (Staci) Russell; grandchildren, Ethan Russell, Joseph Swearingen, Augustus Swearingen; sister, Phyllis Neff and nephew, Charles Hammock.
