

Jennae Brown, age 38, of Knoxville, TN, formerly of Tyler, Fort Worth and Lubbock, TX passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 27th, 2022 at Parkwest Medical Center, surrounded by family, following a brief and tragic medical complication.
Born in Tyler, Jennae spent her childhood years in Texas. She graduated from Bearden High School in 2002 after the family moved to Knoxville, TN in 1994. Upon returning to Texas in 2002, Jennae pursued a career in cosmetology and worked as a stylist for 14 years. She returned to Knoxville in 2020 to be closer to family and found a home at Natural Alternatives in Western Plaza.
Jennae is survived by her partner Mark Davis of Lexington, KY; parents John and Gina Brown of Traveler’s Rest, SC; brothers Dex Brown of Tampa, FL, Jonathan Brown (Renae) of Whitehouse, TX, Chris Brown (Nikki) and Tony Brown (Karly) both of Knoxville, TN; sisters Cassi Brown Wamble (Wade) and Bonni Brown Knighton (James) both of Tyler, TX as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by brother John Richard Brown, Jr. and grandparents C.R. Gimble, Joye Gimble, John Thomas Brown, and Estelle Brown.
Jennae was a bright light to all who knew her. Her energy was contagious and she demonstrated unconditional love. She was humble, gracious, and devoted to her family. She enjoyed being with loved ones, exploring the outdoors, health and fitness, spending time with her beloved dog, Olive, and pursuing growth spiritually through reading, journaling, and laughter.
The family is forever blessed by having Jennae. They are comforted to have been at her side and take solace in knowing that because of her relationship with Christ, Jennae has graduated into heaven. They look forward to being with her again, in God’s timing.

A reception and Celebration of Life will be held in Jennae’s honor on Friday, January 6, 2023 with a receiving of friends between 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Knox Exchange, 1326 N. Broadway, Knoxville. A sharing of memories will be held at 6:30pm.
