He was born on March 21, 1944, in Vancouver, Washington. Jerry was a devoted Christian of the Baptist faith and lived his life guided by faith, family, and hard work.
Jerry was married for 63 wonderful years to his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Cheryl Davis Pack. Together they built a strong, loving family and countless cherished memories.
Jerry dedicated his career to service and craftsmanship. He began his working years on the Chevrolet assembly truck line in Flint, Michigan, where he worked for four years. He later went on to serve as a Supervisor with the Department of Energy in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, retiring after an impressive 41 years of faithful service.
Known affectionately as “Packman,” Jerry was a man of many passions. He loved his Harley-Davidson, traveling in his motor home, and camping with his family on Douglas Lake. He enjoyed tinkering, collecting tools, and hosting gatherings where family and friends were always welcome. A devoted University of Tennessee fan, Jerry could often be found cheering on the Vols. Above all, he treasured time spent with his family.
