Jimmy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He married his high school sweetheart, Tammy England, and together they shared 45 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and unwavering commitment.
He had a deep love for the outdoors and found great joy in fishing and camping. Jimmy also had a remarkable talent for restoring cars and fixing just about anything—there truly wasn’t much he couldn’t repair. He dedicated 45 years of service to KUB, where he worked as a Plant Supervisor and built lasting friendships with his coworkers, who became like family to him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Cookie Jenkins; his father, Jim Jenkins; and his father and mother-in-law, Bobby and Charlotte Bright.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife, Tammy England; his sons, Casey Lee England (Anita “Little Bug”) and Joshua Ray England (Jessica); his grandsons, Jacob England, Bentley England, and Connor England; his bonus grandsons, Nicholas and Nathan Trent, and Joshua Brown; his brother, Billy Jenkins; his sister, DeeDee Breeden; as well as his close friends, Brenda and JR, and his KUB work family.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 30, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 7:00 PM, officiated by Roy Breeden and Pastor Skip Ellison.
Family and friends will meet at Berry Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 10:30 AM to go in procession to Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920, for an 11:00 AM Interment Service.
