JoAnn Myers, Age 84 of Knoxville TN passed away on Nov 2nd 2015. She was a Knoxville native and lifetime member of Mt Olive Baptist Church. JoAnn was a Young High School graduate and employee of South Central Bell / AT&T for 40 years who enjoyed traveling and square dancing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Myers in 1984, and her son, Edward Myers in 2007. JoAnn is survived by her son, David and his wife, Karen Gibbs Myers; and Edward's wife Molly Myers. Her grandchildren are James Walker and Misty, Jennifer Myers and Patrick Allen, John Myers and Kristie, Kelly Myers, and Katie Myers. She also leaves 8 great grandchildren, Tyler Walker, Alyssa Coning, Zack Walker, Samantha Myers, Sydney Myers, Lilli Allen, Kayley Reed and Cole Sexton; and Lifetime friends Rick and Frankie Claiborne. Special thanks to the great nurses and staff at NHC Fort Sanders. Services will be private.
