Jody Hinton Johnson

Johnson, Jody Hinton-died Wednesday April 4, 2012 at his residence. He was a member of Arlington Forrest United Methodist Church. Jody attended Washington and Lee High School in Arlington, Virginia. He also attended Virginia Tech and the University of Tennessee. He played classical guitar at Naples and Mr. Steak Restaurant in Knoxville and a hotel in Dacca, Bangladesh. Jody was preceded in death by grandparents, Robert and Ella Johnson of Maynardville; Sam and Frances Hinton of Knoxville; aunt, Nancy Lang. Survived by parents, Robert and Lora Jean Johnson; sister, Frances V. Snyder of Knoxville; nieces, Cristina Hopwood, Tiffany Snyder; nephews, John Lee Snyder and Tony S. Snyder. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 7, 2012 in the chapel at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway from 5:00-7:00 pm. The service will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Cabel Trent officiating. Family and friends will meet Monday April 9, 2012 at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a 10:30 am interment. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favorite church or charity.
