Joe Herbert Davenport, age 82 of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022.

He was preceded in death by parents, Dewey and Edith Davenport; granddaughter, Jordyn McKinney; sisters, Carolyn Bunch, Louise Majors and Mary Ann Pinkston. Joe is survived by his wife of 50 years, Billie Davenport; sons, Brad (Michelle) Davenport and Larry (Angie) Davenport; daughters, Tammy (Eddie) Mitchell and Laura (Darrell) McKinney; 5 step-children; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will meet Thursday, February 10, 2022 at East View Memorial Gardens for a 12:00 p.m. graveside service. Rev. Danny Neal and Rev. Charles Ogle officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
