Dad, it has been such an emotional ride for the past 7 years but you now have gotten to see your oldest granddaughter Brandy. She is Goodwin through and through. I wish you could have gotten to know her. You have 5 more great grandchildren. Jessica and Tiffany are Brandy's 2 girls. Michael and Malachi are Belinda's twin boys.  Edward added another which gives him 3 girls Aaliyahh, Aarianna, and Alexis.  Keep an eye on them and watch them til we can be with you again.  I miss you daddy.

Daddy you have always been my rock. You stayed on me pretty hard.... never really understood why over such little things but I have taken the time to reflect now I understand. You are my hero and I will miss you terribly. I have so many memories of good and bad times. The bad times are over. You are now free. The memories I have of you will be in my heart forever. Keep watching over me my guardian angel.I love you so much and miss you even more. Go rest in heaven and get ready for the rest of us. See you again Daddy.

Dear Uncle John,
I love you and I am going to miss you so much:(  You were always in my life and now I am lost without you. We had so much fun swimming at sands island, fishing, going to the park or just hanging out playing games, teaching me how to drive and so much more...these are just a few things that I will remember most and how you you made me laugh but also helped me up when I was sad or in pain.  I always knew you loved me as I do you and I have so many memories and pictures with you that and I will forever keep close to my heart until I see you again.  I love you with all my heart uncle John!!

John I sure will miss you being here and leading this company.  You always said that we would go to the soup kitchen together during the hard times.  You taught me so much about my job and life when you pulled me to the side and shared your wisdom.  I am comforted that I will see you again one day in heaven.

I've had the honor of knowing John and working with him for seven years. He was sure a tough cookie sometimes but would argue his point with a mule if he had to. He sure was a good man though and was so giving and generous. He tried to always make sure his employees were taken care of and it was always business before pleasure to him. I can always hear your voice telling me things to do around the office and I will always hold that dear to my heart. I am so thankful for you. We miss John so much and miss our "Boss Man". I know you've finally made your resting place in Heaven and we will see you again! Go rest high Boss Man! We love you!

Circumstances kept us distant and just the same wove us closer again.  Grasping at a light ray of hope - To a shared future! - we toasted.  Far too soon though twisted fate took that away; again.  Knowing your resting peacefully now comforts my soul.

It's times like this when good memories will see you through.  I will cherish every happy moment and good time Jacob, Baby and I shared with you.  I know you'll keep watch over your newest grandbabies.  We love and miss you very much.
