John and Hazel married in Toronto, Canada. A US Army veteran of WWII, John fought in the Battle of the Bulge. In 1959, with their 2 young children, Patricia and Ronald, John and Hazel moved to Arecibo, Puerto Rico with Grace Paper Company which later became International Paper, where John was plant manager and President of Caribbean Operations. In 1973 John and Hazel moved to San Felipe, Venezuela with Mocarpel, Carton de Venezuela. They retired to Knoxville, TN in 1982.
John and Hazel are survived by their daughter, Patricia L. Wilson of Miami Beach, FL and their son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Virginia Wilson of Seymor, TN
