Johnny Raymond Boatman, Jr., age 60, of Knoxville, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Tennova North Hospital. He was known as Junior Boatman to his family and friends. Junior was a loving and devoted son to the late Johnny “Raymond” and Beulah Ann Boatman both of Knoxville.
“Junior” is preceded in death by his grandparents, Cleo Hartless, John and Dovie McDonald, special Aunts, Hazel Boatman, Mae See, Helen See, Lizzie Hankins, and Gladys Wolfenbarger.
“Junior” is survived by his loving Uncle Glen Wolfenbarger, who took care of his needs the past few years, several cousins, and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be on Monday, August 4, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Berry Highland South for his committal service. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the Willow Ridge Center, Maynardville, TN, in honor of Johnny Raymond Boatman, Jr.
