Judy Hazelwood

Judith (Judy) Anne Bell Hazelwood age 82 of Powell, passed away and went to her heavenly home on May 1, 2022. Judy was born January 7, 1940 and was a 1958 Graduate of Bearden High School. Judy was a member of West Haven Baptist Church.

The most wonderous thing about Judy was her faith, trust and love for the Lord. Judy loved the Lord with all her heart.

Judy was a devoted Wife, Mother and Nana. She always put God and her family first.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul; parents, Della Sargent and Paul Bell.

Judy is survived by her son, Mike (Sherry) Hazelwood; daughters Lisa (Jeff) Sasser, and Tracie Hazelwood; Grandchildren: Stacey (Nick) Blevins, Heather (Drew) Norton, Whitney Terry, Michael Paul Hazelwood, Tiffany (Michael) Graham, Morgan (Landon) Franklin, Morgan (Devan)McCarty, Chris (Emily) Sasser, McKenzie Sasser, Emily Hazelwood; and 14 great grandchildren. Sister: Patricia (Jimmy) Buchanan and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5-7 PM, Friday, May 6, 2022 at Weaver’s Chapel, with service to follow at 7 PM. Reverend Ed Cloud will be officiating.

Family and friends will meet at 9:45 AM, Monday May 9, 2022 at East Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery on Gov. John Sevier Highway for a 10:00 AM interment.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to West Haven Baptist Church in honor of Judy Hazelwood.
