

Born on April 22, 1961, Kathy touched the lives of those around her with strength, resilience, and an unwavering spirit. Her spirit of compassion, selflessness and generosity knew no bounds, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of friends and family alike. Despite facing the challenges of her illness, she remained a beacon of hope as she leaned into her faith and became an inspiration to many.
Katherine Marie Boyd Hill is survived by her loving family, including her husband, Stanley (Stan) Hill; Son, Christopher (Chris) Hill (Melissa) and Granddaughter, Amelia Hill; Son, Bradley (Brad) Hill (Natalie); and daughter, Rebekah Hill; Brother, Dennis Boyd (Janet) and family; and Sister, Karen Boyd Meredith (Todd) and family. Brother in law, Rick Hill (Connie) and family. She is preceded in death by her Father, Thomas E. Boyd and Mother, Betty J. Boyd.
Kathy was born and raised in South Knoxville, Tennessee and was a graduate of Doyle High School. Her greatest treasures and priorities were her faith and family. She valued each moment she spent with her husband, children, grandchild, and extended family. She was actively involved in her church, Riverstone Church, with a special appreciation to the Pastor, Elders, and her beloved Small Group.
She was also a dedicated valued team member throughout her career to include her most recent position for 19 years at Tennessee State Bank in Sevierville, Tennessee.
Family will receive friends on Friday, January 23, 2026 from 12:30 PM until 2:30 PM at Riverstone Church, 1204 E Gov John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920 with a service celebrating Kathy Hill's life to follow at 2:30 PM. Pastor Cory Lethgo and Rev. Raymond Burnett officiating. Family invites friends to wear something purple, Kathy's favorite color.
Family and friends will meet Monday, January 26, 2026 at Berry Highland South Cemetery, 9010 East Simpson Rd. Knoxville, TN 37920 for a 3 PM interment service.
Through the years, Kathy had a heart to purchase kids clothing and provide to many organizations to help children in need. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations of new children’s clothing/stuffed animals (with tags) or financial donations be made to the Knox County Isaiah 117 House, P.O. A special appreciation to Vanderbilt Medical Center, Oncology (Dr. Keedy), Hepatology (Dr. Geevarghese), GI, medical staff, and care providers who went the extra mile in her care until her final day. And Smoky Mountain Hospice for their exceptional care.
