He was a graduate of Doyle High School, class of 1977, where he excelled in football and swimming. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy from 1980-1985. He was married to the love of his life, Patsy Burnett, for almost 41 years. He was a devoted husband, father, and poppa.
Preceded in death by parents, Ben and Glenda Burnett.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 41 years, Patsy; son, Travis (Jessica); grandchildren: Sophie, Annabelle, Boin, Flossie, Benji, and Teddy; brothers, Scott (Kathy) Burnett, Todd Burnett, and Jeff (Stacie) Ford; aunt, Judy (Gordon) King; loving and devoted dog George; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 PM Monday, November 1, 2021 at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, Knoxville TN 37920. Funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM, Rev. Denny Ford officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am for an 11:00 am interment Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Bells Campground Cemetery.
