Lena M Brake

Brake, Lena McGaha, age 83, passed away at the University of Tennessee Medical Center on Monday, May 5, 2014. She was a member of Colonial Heights United Methodist Church. She loved the mountains and enjoyed playing piano. She was a retired Physical Therapist from Hillcrest North. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William E. McGaha; and her brothers, Cecil McGaha and Dudley McGaha. She is survived by her husband Bill Brake; daughter Laura Brake; son and daughter-in-law David and Brenda Brake; sisters, Meriam Anderson and Devida King; grandsons, Joshua and Jordan Brake; along with many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the DCI Clinic at Martin Mill Pike. Family will receive friends on from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 in the Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM, Rev. John Brewster officiating. Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst Cemetery on Thursday, May 8, 2014 for an 11:00 AM graveside service.
