Lena Mae Sayne Mallory, age 86 of Knoxville, TN passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021. She proudly worked 32 years as Executive Secretary at the Holiday Inn West. Lena loved working outside in her yard, working in her flower beds, cooking and being with her family.
She is preceded in death by husband, Thomas M. Mallory Jr.; mother, Ina Graves Sayne; father, Ernest Sylvester Sayne; sister, Barbara (Bobbie) Sayne Williams; brother, Ernest (Bud) Sayne and grandson, Kurtlan Wayne Mallory.
Lena is survived by sons, Thomas M. Mallory III and wife Marzel, David W. Mallory and wife Kitrina and Robert E. Mallory; daughters, Deborah A. Mallory, Janet R. Mallory; granddaughter, Jessica Mallory Hickman and husband Caleb; great granddaughters, Paisley J. Hickman, Sadie J. Hickman, Bristol H. Mallory and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will meet Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville for a 1:00pm Graveside Service officiated by Rev. Jimmy Jewell.
