Leslie Ray Gray, Sr., better known as “The Funky Monkey,” age 71, went to be with the Lord on February 5, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie Fowler Gray; and mother, Mildred Marie Gray. He is survived by his sons, Rodney Gray, Leslie Gray, Jr., and Anthony Gray; sister, Pat Seivers; eight grandchildren; and numerous extended family. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 11:00am-1:00pm at Berry Highland South Funeral Home (9010 Simpson Rd. Knoxville, TN 37920). There will be a procession to the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on East Gov. John Sevier Highway for a 1:30pm graveside service.
