As many people stated at the burial, Norman did a lot of things for a lot of people, and I was one that received some good life lessons from him. He will be greatly missed.

Good Bye to the real Mr Mopar. Norman could cut a lite in any of his cars like nobody!!! Gonna miss him!!!

I have many wonderful memories of my childhood with Norman, Larry Joe and Karen. As cousins we played outside long hours, riding bikes in the field between the house and motel.

Norman and I went to school together , 1st grade through high school. I offer my condolences to the family

Dear Larry and family:

Norman was my bus driver when I was in high school.  The last time I saw him he had brought his Mom to the funeral home for my uncle.  I have fond memories of our families time together at Lyons Creek Baptist Church.  After my first car wreck Norman came to look at the car to see if it was repairable.  It was a total loss but I certainly appreciated his looking at it and his concern.  I even saw him race a few times.  May God's promises give you peace at this time.

The memories, the fun and the excitement of watching you race. Teaching me the basics.  Even letting me take headers out of the mopar when you got discusted and thought they would never come off! I remember you fondly as the kindest gental giant I've ever known.  Rest in peace my friend.

I will always remember Norman for his kindness and friendship.  He is one of the sweetest souls I have had the opportunity to know.  RIP Norman.  You have blessed so many lives!
