Linda Faye Stipes Gervin

Gervin, Linda F. age 57, of South Knoxville, passed away January 1, 2011 at UT Hospital. She was a faithful member of Stock Creek Baptist Church where she was active in the church choir. One of her greatest joys was her three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents Cloyd and Betty Stipes; son, Bradley Gervin, brother and sister-in-law Larry Stipes and Kay; special aunt and uncle, Mary and Neil Haliburton. She was survived by daughter and son-in-law: Nikkii and Matt Weaver; grandchildren Sophie, Madison, and Hunter Weaver; sister Patricia Stipes; niece and nephew and their children, Lori and Christopher Humphreys; many special church and family friends. A memorial service will be at 2:00 pm Monday, January 3, 2011 at Stock Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Beecher “Buddy” Johnson officiating. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery at 4:00 pm for graveside services following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stock Creek Baptist Church Food Pantry, 8106 Martin Mill Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920.
