Linda Gale Sharp

Linda Gale Sharp, age 75, was peacefully called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Throughout her life, Linda faithfully served her community through her work, dedicating twenty-two years to Wallace X-Ray and later blessing the Knox County School system with her skills as an administrative assistant. In her cherished spare moments, Linda found joy in studying genealogy and tracing the beautiful tapestry of her family history, connecting the threads of past generations with loving care.

Linda now joins her beloved husband, John Kennedy "Kenny" Sharp, in their eternal home. She is reunited with her dear parents, Gladys and Georgia Mae Dunn Ford, and her brothers Roy Ford, Lynn Ford, and William "Bill" Ford, as well as her sister, Ida Marlene Ford Campbell.

While our hearts ache with her passing, Linda's memory lives on through those who loved her dearly. She leaves behind her devoted sister-in-laws Vivian Ford, Vicki Sharp, Linda Sharp, her special cousin Ricky Ford, and her treasured friend Sally Hickey. Linda's love continues to touch the lives of her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and close friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Her gentle spirit, kind heart, and unwavering faith will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the life of Linda at a graveside service on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 1:00pm, at Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920, with Reverend Rick Clevenger officiating.
