It says to begin your entry here, but how do you begin to write about a friendship that ended too soon.  Loni was always a good friend to me even though we lived on opposite coasts and were busy in our lives, we kept in touch via mail, email, and when in town even if it was a far drive, we met up.  Loni was  sincere, a good listener and true friend.  To her mom, her sisters and her family and friends I am praying for all of you.  God has the angel we all knew up with him now.

Wishing you all peace and comfort in this time of loss. I had the pleasure of working with Loni at Universal Music. I can still hear her laugh, her and I shared good times and she is missed. A big warm hug, my most sincere sympathies and condolences to the family. Loni had a great spirit about her and that will live on forever.

My heart goes out to you and your family. Although I don't know exactly what to say, I want you to know that I am with you in prayer and wish you comfort and peace as you remember Loni

To Loni's Family; I wish you peace at this time of deep sorrow.  I cannot fathom your loss, please know you are all included in my thoughts and prayers daily.
I remember how I first met her, back in October of 2007, over a baby shower for one or her staff at work. She reached out to let me know she was grateful that I was helping. I was not in her department, but she gave me respect and kept me in her loop. Another encounter was while she was hosting a luncheon. She had the reputation for getting things done and was always busy, so I tried to stay incognito. I was searching for a box when she asked me if I needed anything. Once she found out I was sending out a fundraising prize for the NPO I volunteered for, she volunteered to help out for the next one, and then told me to help myself to some food! Wow, I remember thinking, I like her, she's special (not because of the food)!  Loni has touched everyone here at work, our own little spit-fire of well, everything. It was her compassion that stood out to me - easy to see she was a person of many talents.  Even on her last day there, while I was saying good-bye to her and I mentioned I had family out that way, her response was, well come by and visit me! I could go on, but what I am trying to convey, is that she had that it factor; that creative mix of assiduous at work, yet compassion included thing. I feel honored and privileged to know her. Her laughter, her warmth and wisdom, is missed here, but her light shines forever bright in my memory of her; nothing will ever extinguish that! I hope she hears my prayers when I thank her for including me in her life, and love you Loni!
