Louise O Owens

Louise Crawford Owens, age 88 of Knoxville, passed away June 14, 2017 at Ben Atchley State Veterans Home. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church since 1964. Louise served in the U.S. Army as a nurse during WWII. Preceded in death by parents, William and Ruby Crawford; son, Charles Michael Owens; sister, Wanda Faye Suggs; grandson, Cory Tyler Coile; father of her children, Charles Owens. Survived by children, Linda (Reese) Coleman, Anthony Gene (Sandra) Owens, Beverly (Mark) Coile, Darryl (Sheila) Owens; grandchildren, Joshua Owens, Jennifer McBee, Nicholas and Paige Owens and Chase Owens, eight great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Crawford; sisters, Mildred Greene and Jane Vorkel, several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Saturday in Weaver's Chapel from 5:00-7:00 pm with service to follow. Family and friends will meet Tuesday, 11:15 am at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway for an 11:30 am interment.
