Mary Sarah White

WHITE, MARY SARAH - age 92 of Knoxville went home to be with the Lord Friday, March 11, 2011. She was a faithful Christian, loving wife, mother, and dear friend to many. She was a longtime member of Gallaher Memorial Baptist Church, member of the Bearden Chapter of the Family Community Education Club, and a member of the Bearden Eastern Star. Preceded in death by parents John and Mattie Sutton, husband, Joe White; daughter, Sue Campbell; brothers, Ralph, George, Hugh, and John Sutton, sister Elizabeth Weaver. Survived by sons, Donald White and wife Teresa, Bill White and wife Su, grandchildren, Susanne Williams (Rich), Jimmy Campbell (Tara), Jeffrey White, Valerie White, great-grandchildren Sara Margaret Williams, Madeline Williams, Tripp Williams, Mary Claire Williams, and sister, Gladys Starnes. Family will receive friends Sunday at Weaver's on Western Ave. from 4-6 pm. Family and friends will meet Monday 10:45 am at New Gray Cemetery for an 11 am interment. Pastor Ron Bright officiating.
